We organized an educational outing to the Fondazione Ferretti, where we went to the discovery of the world of bees. These little animals are so small but so important for our planet as, through pollination and the creation of life they help keep our ecosystems in balance and under control. Did you know that there can be more than 60,000 bees in a hive? Or that the queen is the mother of all the bees in a hive? What the stinger is for and how many legs and wings a bee has? Enabling children to learn about the life and importance of the bee is fundamental to promoting bee conservation and addressing important issues such as environmental and biodiversity protection; to give them the tools to learn about and respect these important pollinators is crucial to laying the groundwork for a better future.
